The Seminole Tribe launched a sportsbook in Florida on Nov. 1, while the other lawsuit was tossed by the federal court. Despite the lawsuits, the sportsbook has already been available in the state. There are two major lawsuits against the state’s legal sports betting compact, but the Florida government is still deciding on whether the new gaming compact is constitutional. A final decision is expected soon, but until then, the state will have to wait.
