It’s official, Brett Favre has escaped from the rocking chair once again and is back in the NFL. This journey has taken him across the road in his backyard from Green Bay to Minnesota.
Dressed in purple and white, Mr. Favre is now on the Vikings roster. an interesting twist when the Vikings against the Packers during the season. Fantasy football league players are now rethinking their strategies and fighting for new roster spots and changes.
Oh yeah, let’s not forget the Packers’ defensive coordinator. Now he is rethinking his defensive strategy for the eventual meeting between the two teams on October 5. I predict the ratings will be very high on this one.
Green Bay fans are reportedly furious at the thought of their golden boy for so many years, now on the other side of the ball. They know what he can do, even though he is less effective than when he was on the team. His skills still make fans nervous once they know he’s out there ripping through his defense.
When you think about it, Green Bay made the decision a few years ago to move on to Bret, so I guess now, the rewards. The boy just wants to play and feels that he can contribute. As long as he can make a difference, teams will sign him, as is evident in Minnesota.
