Here, a major disadvantage associated with the AOS process is its time-consuming nature. Typically, the AOS lasts for eight to fourteen weeks for the family-based application, while it will be for other applicants as well. The important benefit of this AOS is that it allows you to stay in the US with your family until the end of the process.
