Pale skin can be very translucent, so finding the right foundation is one of your most important tasks. It is possible that, being so fair, you are a bit more prone to aging, especially if you live in a sunny climate. I would recommend that if your foundation does not contain a good amount of SPF that you always apply sunscreen daily as part of your beauty routine and before your foundation to help slow the aging process.

A yellow or beige tint in the foundation should be enough to minimize the slight redness of the skin if you are prone to acne or have been exposed to the elements for too long. It will give a little warmth to your skin tone. Make sure the color scheme is perfect, because if your base is too dark, it will look like you are wearing a mask. Use your foundation to even out your skin tone in preparation for your next piece of art.

Wear bright colors in your eyes calmly, as on pale skin they tend to be too much. Try soft pastels, sheer highlights, and natural tones with warm undertones. A little mascara is good too. If your iris is pale, you may need to use taupe eyeliner to frame your eyes. Groom your brows and outline with a blonde brow powder or smudge pencil. Cheek color is where you can add a little more of the usual natural glow to your coloring. You need more intense shades, like sheer plum tints, and go for a deeper shade of lipstick. This will contrast really well with brown or red hair. Experiment with reddish-brown or berry hues, and for a more dramatic evening, go for the true reds.

Coral tones are emerging. I love wearing pure ginger eye gloss, dark brown mascara lashes, lots of warm tint on the cheeks. I add a touch of glitter on top to highlight the eyes. You could use nude glossy lips for something a little more funk and it looks divine on translucent fair skin. I’m a redhead myself, but you may have to alternate shades based on your coloring and your hair color.
