Death Knights can be fierce and intimidating fighters. But most people don’t realize that Death Knights can also be the key to making loads of WoW gold really fast. You do not believe me? Read on and I bet you will change your mind.

The key to using a Death Knight as a money maker is the fact that they start at Level 55. That means you can create an alternate Death Knight and with just a few hours of searching, have a character from Level 60 ready to go. . This is important because at level 60, your character can quickly train any profession up to his maximum skill level (450). And that opens up all kinds of possibilities.

The basic idea is to train your new alt in one of the Crafting professions. Your main character can then gather resources that the alternate turns into more valuable items. For example, if your main character is a miner and your alternate character is a jeweler, it would look something like this:

The primary gathers raw materials and provides the alternate with the resources needed to make jewelry. Anything that doesn’t go to the alt is processed by the primary in the most cost-effective way available.

The alt then processes what the parent submits in the most cost-effective way available, perhaps returning the finished products to the parent, forwarding them to another alt with a different set of professions, or whatever else makes the most sense.

As you can imagine, a gold guide comes in handy when you’re trying to figure out the best way to allocate professions and process specific raw materials through your main character team and one (or more) alternates. This strategy doesn’t work as well if you’re trying to give the Death Knight gathering professions, so let your main character do the gathering and the alternate do the crafting. Using them as a team, you will be able to quickly generate masses of gold.
