Nature photography means taking pictures outdoors. You can capture unique images of landscapes, sunsets, mountains, waterfalls, birds, flowers, wildlife. These are all good reasons why I love nature photography. Anyone can be an expert nature photographer and can sell the photos they take, if they find a way. There are many photography classes, workshops, as well as many books where you can find all the details to take amazing nature photos. You could take nature photos as a personal hobby, or you could make a career of doing what you love: photography.
Nature photography is very enjoyable so that this activity can lift the spirits of anyone who does it, and also make that person feel good. Being in nature and enjoying the fresh air is also a very good reason why I like nature photography. Images of nature images could also induce a certain mood for the viewer, such as comforting, relaxing, happiness, joy, or dark moods. Knowing what mood you want to go through helps you figure out what elements to add to the image. Different seasons can create different moods. Depending on the local geographical conditions, such as the city, the ocean, the countryside, the mountains, all these landscapes can change the mood of an image.
Each photo is different. Whatever your preference of subjects, you can always record nature that is unique, on film and that is also one of the reasons why I like nature photography. Each animal is used in a different way each time. The way the flowers dance in the wind gives you the impression that they are always in a different place every time you take a different photo. The sun reflects off the water and land differently each time. You could take many photos in the same setting and you will always get something different, which is really amazing. There is literally no end to the designs you can find on rocks, leaves, water, or anything else in nature. Also, each lens used to create photos offers different views. A properly chosen lens could make a photo look the way you want it to.
Landscape photography. Much of nature photography consists of taking landscape photos. You could take pictures for the same landscape and in different ways each time.
Finding the right light for the shots. Light greatly changes the appearance of a photo, so various types of light can make your image stand out. But finding the right lighting conditions that give a photo the perfect look is one of the reasons I love nature photography. The directions for the light could come from the sides, back, front. Light coming from the front might look better if a scene has a lot of color. The sidelights would enhance the texture and the backlight would emphasize the shape of the subject.
