Your ex wants to see how much you love him – Perhaps you reacted to the breakup by clinging to your ex even more. This told your ex that you want him in such a strong way that it gave him an ego boost. Now they want to see how much you want them, because it makes them feel good that you want them so badly, even if it’s an ex’s desire.
Your ex is challenging you – An ex flaunting a new date in front of you, challenges you to see what you will do to win him back. They are trying to see if you will rise to the challenge and work to win them back whoever they are dating now.
Your ex wants to hurt you – They broke up with you and enjoyed it. Now they are making you jealous and enjoying it too. Some people psychologically and emotionally enjoy watching others suffer; and it is very possible that your ex is one of those people.
