Well, I’m going to give you some ideas on how to take your little farm and monetize it. Here are some examples of how I make money on my farm. After reading this article, I have no doubt that you will earn extra income from something you love to do.
Do you have chickens? Have you ever thought of selling farm fresh eggs? My neighbors always order farm fresh eggs. I sell an average of 20 dozen a week at $2.25 a dozen! I started with one client and by word of mouth I now have about 15 clients a week and that number is growing. Now I need to increase my laying hens.
Do you have a small garden? Have you ever thought of selling fresh produce? I sell fresh tomatoes, potatoes, cabbage, pumpkin, cucumbers and much more. I do this from my farm. I have no need to go to the farmers market. Once you build a good reputation with your neighbors, word will spread and you will have more demand than you can deliver. Everyone wants fresh produce and really wants to support their local farmers. It is a win-win solution.
Do you have a dairy cow? Sell farm fresh milk to your neighbors! Or maybe you have a lot of wood for firewood? There are many ways to optimize your small farm and learn to live a healthier and more self-sufficient lifestyle at the same time.
